Radical Remission
“Truly winning the war on cancer requires individual responsibility for our food choices; as long as we wait for the next pharmaceutical breakthrough or genetic engineering miracle to save us, we won’t use the considerable power we already possess to end this scourge.”
Radical remission, also referred to as ‘spontaneous healing. There are thousands of cases of radical remission published in medical journals; however, most major cancer institutions are not sharing and/or recommending review and discussion of what people did to survive. After all, if we are trying to “win the war on cancer,” doesn’t it make sense to talk and learn from those who have already won?
Radical remission occurs whenever:
- A person’s cancer goes away without using any conventional medicine, or
- A cancer patient tries conventional medicine, but the cancer does not go into remission, so he or she switches to alternative methods of healing, which do lead to remission, or
- A cancer patient uses conventional medicine and alternative healing methods at the same time in order to outline a statistically dire prognosis (i.e. any cancer with less than 25% chance of five-year survival).
Based on Kelly and her team’s research, the 9 key factors for radical remission include:
- Radically changing your diet towards a mostly or all unprocessed whole-food, plant-based diet
- Taking control of your health and being personably responsible
- Following your intuition and trusting your gut instincts
- Using herbs and supplements to complement a healthy diet
- Releasing suppressed emotions and healing
- Increasing positive emotions
- Embracing social support
- Deepening your spiritual connection
- Having strong reasons for living
